First and foremost, I am an avid reader. I love everything from fantasy and sci-fi to historical romance and mystery.
Secondly, I am passionate about clear communication. I firmly believe that an author’s valuable time spent writing a work of fiction or non-fiction should result in a published piece that comes across exactly as intended to their reading public.
For the last 20+ years I worked as an executive and manager. I ran external production offices around the world, oversaw massive amounts of logistics and planned, prepped and executed thousands of events and conventions.
As part of this, I was entrusted to write, edit or proofread all variety of written works. Whether staff briefings, training materials, speeches, convention and seminar scripts, magazine articles or conference agendas. More recently I worked on a variety of technical writing and editing projects, from operator and maintenance manuals for computer software and equipment, to website overhauls.
All in all, my skillset is long and varied. However, after running 24/7 on much of the above, I decided to do what I love most.
My time is now spent editing and proofreading fiction and non-fiction works for both existing and new self-published and independent authors.
When I’m not editing or proofreading, I love to hike, knit, paint and spend time with my family and furry friends.
